As evil corporations go, CBS ranks right up there. Their groovy Sixties Columbia Records rock bands were often obviously studio musicians on the records. CBS bought the Yankees and ruined them. They bought Janis Joplin and ruined her. They bought the iconic Fender Musical Instruments Company and ruined it. Even today their broadcast "news" is blatantly biased; it's among the worst of all broadcasters, maybe the worst.
Evil, evil, evil.
Wal-Mart, on the other hand, is not evil. It gives jobs to people who could never get jobs anywhere else, and it sells things to people who could never afford them anywhere else. The greedy union bastards are stirring public opinion against Wal-Mart, but if you're on the unions' side you're evil too.
I was on medication for a while. I was paying $60 for it at the local chain drug store. One day I went to Wal Mart. They charged me $10.
If you're a poor person, you're probably better off spending $10 than $60.
