A Public Radio interviewee just said that Greece needed "change". He said that there were rich people living there. Said he: "We need to change the laws. We need to change the mechanism."

Unsurprisingly, the interviewer didn't ask "Change to what?"

Change them so that everybody's life has to be better, I guess, under penalty of imprisonment.


More recently, the All Things Considered host was comiserating with some Wikipedia staffer that there were way too many males writing Wikipedia articles. They mutually, and loudly, presumed that it was a bad thing.

I guess we could pass a law requiring women to write articles for Wikipedia.
