"Tolerance" is a sacred word to some people. Above competence or honor or honesty or any of that stuff, we are told that we must be "tolerant".

Well, no.

There's no need to "tolerate" people who are acting well and considerately. The issue of tolerance doesn't even come up unless somebody is doing something bad, which we are then told to tolerate. Do I have to mention that we shouldn't tolerate bad people?

In a world of kindness, tolerance would be unneccessary.
It seems to be that pro-tolerance people are in effect pro-evil people.
