Hey! I found a purpose for Facebook!
My first trip to a barber shop was excellent. The girl with the silly-ass name like girls have now really did a great job. So back I went for the next haircut and she was gone, replaced by a pierced young woman who did a really bad job.
When you ask a haircutter who she is so you can go back or not go back to her, she should give you some kind of Facebook or Linkedin contact so you can find her again, wherever she is. Because these women move all over the place, making it difficult for you to form a relationship and get someone accustomed to your head.
And oh by the way, forget about using review sites like Angie's List or Yelp to find a good haircutter. All of the people actually doing the cutting are extremely mobile and extremely temporary at any one location.
