Now, in 2013, there is a wave of "offended" people bullying new restrictions on behavior. It's not one person, but it's very few, and they're jerking us all around because they can. It's like our lives and environments are being conscribed and defined and constructed by the worst, most belligerent, most bullying people in the world.
Pause for a minute and think about that. And how that's going to end up.
The reason for this is that good people don't rise up. Good people don't cause problems. Good people don't pick fights. Unfortunately, that means that good people don't fight back, which means that our lives and environments are being conscribed and defined by the worst people in the world.
So what? I think that good people should fight back. I think that the guy who throws a beer can or burger bag out his truck window every day needs to get his arm broken so he can't throw for a while. I think that there should be an assassination squad so that when a story hits the news about some school principal or gay activist who does something that is breathtakingly cruel and wrong, they should just get beat up. Some people just need a beating.
Because this planet is becoming much less lovely, day by day, and it's not necessarily the fault of the evil people. There will always be evil people. It's the fault of the people who don't fight back.
Do you think that this is too extreme? There is only one question: Whose side are you on? Good or evil?
